The previous version of OpenTTCN Tester has been widely used in commercial and in-house WiMAX test systems. OpenTTCN Ltd has released 2.56.0 version of OpenTTCN Tester for TTCN-3 addressing customer requirements for creation of industrial strength test systems. With the new version OpenTTCN is now ready for use in 3GPP LTE test systems.

The OpenTTCN Tester for TTCN-3 version 2.56.0 provides several improvements to the previous release 2.55.0. The major improvements are:

• enhanced mismatch analysis,
• enhanced logging,
• support for major new TTCN-3 edition 3 features,
• performance improvements,
• user level control of test component priorities, and
• interface support for upcoming TTCN-3 level debugger product (option).

The new 2.56.0 version allows OpenTTCN Ltd to release new SDKs for new programming languages (C#, Java), new adapters, and new test management and TTCN-3 editing and debugging environments later this year.

OpenTTCN Tester for TTCN-3 version 2.56.0 for Windows platforms supporting Visual Studio 2005 compiler is available immediately. Additional compilers and operating systems will be supported in the last quarter of 2007.

OpenTTCN Ltd will contact current customers by the end of September 2007 and provide new license keys necessary for the use of OpenTTCN 2.56.0. The new keys are needed due to changes in the license key mechanism taken into use.
